Gil Edwards er født og oppvokst i Meford, Oregon, USA, Allerede som barn bletalent utom det vanlig. I voksen alder fikk han tilbud om å reise til norge for å spill av en amerikansk låtskriverorganisasjon. Bestempt på å lykkes, jobbet seg bokstvlig opp fra rennesteinen, og oppdragene ble stadig fler og mer lønnsome. I dag opptrer han med sitt show over 200 ganger i året, og har blitt sett av over 250.000. mennesker.

Han er en kjent mann både i Norge og Denmark. I begge landene har han gitt ut plater, blitt spilt over riks radio opptredt på nasjonal TV. Gil’s første plate solgt nesten 10.000 examplar i Norge, og han Har nettopp signert en ny platekontrakt med Tylden & Co. Han venter release av platen i febuar 2006. En av Gil’s sanger ble også inkudert i Harley-Davidson’s 100 års jubileums CD. Reportoire består av materiale fra Gil’s tre plater og en utvalg av han’s favorite sanger fra andre artister.

Gil is one of the best kept secrets in the history of Norway. Here is an artist who plays over 200 dates pr. Year, has been seen live on stage by over 250.000 people, has released an album in both Norway and Denmark, contributed to over six other albums, has a song on Harley-Davidson’s 100 year anniversary CD . He’s been on national TV in both Norway and Denmark, He’s had songs on both the Norwegian and the Danish radio charts. He’s putting the finishing touch on the great new hillbilly Album “For My Old Man” . He is in the planning stages for a new CD soon to be started in Holland. He has a finished new CD that will be released in Febuary of 2006 on the Norwegian label Tylden & Co.

The record companies and management agencies are filling up there stalls with reality TV “Stars” and lucky contest winners. Whats up now ?

At the current time Gil is in the studio preparing to record his third solo CD. A radio single is expected in August. He will also be working with Pat Savage on recording and touring. In July 2007 Gil will accompany Pat Savage to Portugal, England, and Sweden.

Gil is working with Pat on Pat's biker reality Program "A Bikers lifestyle the Savage Roads". A program about a band that travels the world preforming at major Bike events, covering the lifestyle, the ride and the culture of the country of the days show. Gil will be doing the food and drink segment in the show. There will be a couple of shows shot in Norway, There is film in the can from South Africa. Plans for New Zealand, Japan and Australia aready in the works. This will be a great show and is aleady attracted intrest from several networks in the States.
